Amazon stocks pretty much anything and everything you can think of, from CDs and DVDs to musical instruments and clothing. If you want something the chances are Amazon sell it.
Good points: So many products it's rare not to find what you're looking for. They also have great deals and sale and 'Buy 3 get 1 Free!' types of offers.
Bad points: Not the most reliable site to buy from.
Overall: Amazon offers so many products you're bound to find what you want after just a few minutes of browsing. From time to time I check their site just to see what's new and that I would possibly want to buy. I'd recommend this site if you have some money but don't quite know what you want to buy, it will help you find it! Also, they're great with refunds if your product is defective or you want 'tradebacks'
Good points: Wide range of products. Nice layout. Can look at reviews on that product which were made by other buyers (very helpful!). Safe website. Easy checkout process!
Bad points: Support. While you can access a knowledge base, it is not easy to get in contact with Amazon.
Overall: Amazon is a great place if you`re looking to buy something. If you need it, they have it! If you need help, well you might as well depend on the knowledge base because it is not simple to get hold of Amazon. I continue to use Amazon and will anytime i need a product, because... you just can`t beat their competitive prices.
Good points: Amazon.com offers consistently lower prices than just about any brick-and-mortar store I've been in, and they typically offer free shipping on orders of $25 or more. They also offer options of purchasing items new or used through third-party Marketplace sellers, giving customers the chance to save even more.
Bad points: The search feature on the site could really use some work; I typically get anywhere from a dozen to a few hundred irrelevant results when I search for a product. While what I'm looking for is usually toward the top, sometimes it takes a lot of digging to find what I'm looking for even when I've been as specific about the product as I can be.
Overall: Amazon.com is one of the first places I look when I'm trying to find a book or DVD I want to buy. I love the fact that their prices are consistently better than other retailers' are, and that I can get free shipping by spending just $25 on my order. I do wish that they'd revise their search features to provide more relevant results, and that they'd allow me to turn off the advertisements for their credit card in my shopping cart. Overall, though, I've always been extremely satisfied by my experiences shopping with Amazon.com.
